Joy brings more than 25 years of recruitment experience to the Classic team. She has a deep understanding and respect for small business and supports clients to elevate their practices.
Joy purchased Classic in 2007. Quality services and fostering meaningful client relationships have seen outputs more than treble and most importantly, Classic has surged as a local leader in its field.
Joy is a passionate and active community member. Together with the Classic team, she is committed to supporting a diverse range of initiatives.
Best known for her nine-year contribution to the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce (2010 -2019), Joy has served as President, Vice President and Director. In addition, Joy has sat on countless community committees. Currently, she sits on the Board of Ability Enterprises and the Jondaryan Woolshed.
Joy was a founding member of Women on the Move and Toowoomba Says No to Violence. She was also awarded Zonta Woman of the Year in 2014.
Joy is a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. She is proud of her two sons who are forging successful careers and raising young families.
Lisa is a dynamic and experienced human resources professional. She supports SMEs to leverage the best possible performance from their people, while most importantly, ensuring they have appropriate HR systems, policies and procedures in place.
Lisa has worked in Toowoomba for more than a decade. Her professional experience spans across human resource and management roles, including working for Russell Mineral Equipment and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Placing a high value on people and culture, Lisa has fostered a reputation in her field for her thorough and caring approach underpinned by “doing the right thing”. Her expertise extends from practical insights to more complex issues and includes mediation and conflict resolution.
Lisa has professional qualifications in human resources management. She is a Certified Australian Human Resource Institute practitioner (CAHRI), an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AFAIM) and an Accredited Mediator with the Australian Mediation Association.
Lisa is committed to maintaining a contemporary view of HR and IR developments through continuing professional development. She participates in a range of HR and business forums, in addition to attending industry conferences and events.
